KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cordica Medical (Cordica), a medical device contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), today announced its new website, cordicamedical.com, built as a working resource for the engineers and program teams who develop medical devices. Alongside Cordica’s design, development, manufacturing, and automation capabilities, the site includes a technical knowledge base of more than 50 references, interactive engineering tools, and an online store for stock medical tubing.
The knowledge base covers six areas of medical device engineering: catheter technologies, materials, medical tubing and extrusion, secondary processing and surface technologies, catheter and device applications, and injection molding and micro-molding. References range from polymer selection and the tradeoffs between braided and coil-reinforced shafts to guide catheter design, hydrophilic coatings, and medical micro-molding. Engineering tools include a French-to-millimeters converter and an accelerated aging calculator based on ASTM F1980-21 reference methodology. The site launches as a first phase, with more customer-focused tools and resources to follow.
The site is also the new home of the Duke Extrusion webstore. The Stock Components store offers over 1,000 stock products, including single lumen, braided, balloon, and ChronoBond™ tubing, plus Spectraflex and Telescopic R&D kits, in materials including Pebax™, PebaSLIX™, Nylon 12, NyloSLIX™, and ChronoPrene™. Engineers can filter by French size (2–12 Fr), inside and outside diameter, and wall thickness, then order online through an updated shopping experience.
The new site also brings Cordica’s full platform together in one place:
Integrated capabilities. Design and development, catheter and delivery systems, precision extrusion, cleanroom molding, micro-molding, medical converting, advanced medical sewing, advanced materials, and automated assembly and packaging, all under one roof.
Catalyst by Cordica Medical. A coordinated development pathway that takes programs from design to production.
Market expertise. Dedicated pages for interventional cardiology, interventional neurovascular, robotic-assisted surgery, drug delivery, advanced wound care, wearable patient monitoring, and mobility and recovery.
Global footprint. An interactive map of 19 facilities in 11 locations across the United States, Mexico, and Singapore.
“We built the new site to be useful to engineers whether or not they’re working with us yet. The knowledge base and tools reflect what our teams know about catheter technologies, materials, extrusion, and molding, and they show how we approach a program from ‘Concept to Care,’” said Marshall White, President and CEO, Cordica Medical.
“Our customers come to us with complex device programs and tight timelines. The new cordicamedical.com shows the full breadth of what we do in one place, from early design through production at scale. And for the engineers who have relied on Duke Extrusion for years, the stock components store makes it faster to get the tubing they need for their next prototype or build. Device. Designed. Delivered. Now that starts online,” said Mike Perillo‑Gentile, Chief Commercial Officer, Cordica Medical.
The new website is live at cordicamedical.com. The knowledge base is at cordicamedical.com/resources/knowledge-base, and stock tubing and R&D kits are at cordicamedical.com/stock-components. The previous Duke Extrusion webstore will stay available for a limited time during the transition. Teams with a custom device, component, or manufacturing challenge can start a project with Cordica.
Cordica will exhibit at COMPAMED 2026, November 16–19 at Messe Düsseldorf in Germany. Attendees can visit Cordica at Hall 8A, Booth M34 to hear about the new site, knowledge base, and stock components store, and to meet the Cordica team.
