LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Belkin, a global leader in consumer electronics accessories trusted by more than 1 billion customers worldwide, today introduced Infinity Folio, a beautifully crafted protective case exclusively designed for iPad mini. The Infinity Folio is engineered to protect without compromise. A thin, lightweight and translucent back lets the new iPad mini design shine through with 360° of protection against drops of up to 2 meters*. The ingeniously engineered detachable cover transforms into a stand with multiple viewing angles. Whether it's streaming a favorite show, joining a video call, or reading an exciting book, Infinity Folio adapts to every moment. Designed specifically for iPad mini, Infinity Folio is available at launch through Apple stores and online in select markets worldwide, with additional retail availability by the end of the year.
At the heart of Infinity Folio is its detachable cover, an elegant piece of engineering that takes the versatility of iPad mini to the next level. Belkin developed an easy-angle hinge with automatic magnetic snap that holds iPad mini steady at several viewing angles, each one designed for a different moment in the day. Upright positions are made for streaming a favorite series or joining a video call, and lower angles are made for typing, reading, or sketching. Every angle locks firmly into place with no slipping or wobbling. The cover attaches and detaches in seconds, so Infinity Folio goes from a protective case to a versatile stand whenever the moment calls for it. The hinge has been tested through more than 10,000 cycles to perform reliably day after day.**
Protection, beautifully clear
A frosted translucent back panel, crafted from premium polycarbonate, has a soft, refined finish that lets iPad mini's color shine through while guarding against everyday wear. Infinity Folio protects the device on every side, with drop protection of up to 2 meters (6.6 feet)*. Reinforced corners, made from durable thermoplastic polyurethane, absorb impact where it matters most, and raised edges help protect the display and camera. An anti-scratch finish resists scuffs and scratches, so Infinity Folio keeps looking polished, whether it's tossed in a bag, carried on a commute, or packed for travel. Precisely cut openings keep the buttons, ports, and camera easy to reach.
Smart, simple, seamless
Thoughtful details make each day with iPad mini effortless. A built-in magnetic closure puts the device to sleep automatically when the cover is closed and wakes it up the moment it's opened. That helps preserve battery life without an extra step, so it's easy to pick up right where you left off. The magnets also keep the cover securely closed when iPad mini is in transit.
